Privacy notice
What this site collects, who can see it and what stays on your device. In short, very little.
The short version
There are no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Information only leaves your device when you choose to send it, through the feedback form or by signing in to a staff account. This notice explains both, and names every outside service involved. Nothing is sold, shared or used for research.

What happens
Nothing about you is collected. Pages are served by the site's host, Vercel, which keeps standard server logs to keep the site running. The weather in the header is fetched by the site itself, so your browser never contacts the weather service.
The form asks for your year of study, your status in Canada and your feedback. Your name, CCID, department and country are optional. Formspree delivers it by email to the site's developer and deletes its record within 30 days.
Staff and faculty accounts are stored with Supabase: your name, email, department and role, and any passkeys you add. Signing in sets cookies that keep you signed in. Account emails, such as sign-in codes and approval notices, are sent through Resend.
Your last eight THRIVE check-ins, only if you choose to keep them. Whether the side panel is collapsed and whether the app is installed. Copies of pages you have visited, so they open offline. None of it is sent anywhere, and clearing this site's data removes it all.
Outside services
Six services make the site work. Each one sees only what its job needs.
| Service | What it does | When it is involved |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the site and serves every page | Every visit |
| Formspree | Delivers feedback by email, then deletes it within 30 days | When you send feedback |
| Supabase | Stores staff accounts and the announcements, events and positions they post | When you sign in |
| Resend | Sends account emails, such as sign-in codes | When the site emails a staff account |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Checks that a sign-in is a person, not a bot | On the sign-in, sign-up and password reset pages |
| Open-Meteo | Provides the weather in the header | Never from your browser, only the site's server |
